Before meeting Marco, I had trained on and off in gyms for years. I used to get really motivated at times and train hard for long months to achieve the body I wanted, but failed every time.Also, I was told by my previous trainers that as a 45 year-old,it was impossible for me to develop that elusive six-pack. When I met Marco, he told me that, although it is hard as it requires discipline,what I had been told was a lie, but intelligent training and a tailored nutrition plan where the key to achieve what I wanted.

So I embarked on a fourteen week body transformation journey…I guess the results speak for themselves!

I returned to training with Marco after 3 years during which time I had my third child and had been back at the gym three times a week for two years.

After two years training on my own and although I was regularly in the gym I felt I was getting stronger but I was not getting fit like I was when training with Marco, so I was eager to train with him again to speed up the process and because I knew from training with him previously that he would look at the whole picture and not just my training program.

After arranging a meeting he looked carefully at my diet and ran a few movement and postural tests. He called those a biomechanical and nutritional assessment.

He then used that information to create the right diet and training programs that suited me.

Within just 6 weeks I felt stronger and was less bloated as my diet meant I was finally eating foods that work well for my specific metabolism and training needs.

By the end of the third month, after starting both dieting and training, my body shape had been transformed and I continued to get fitter and stronger.

After 6 months it is hard to believe how much I have changed, my old cloths falling off me and feeling really strong and energized.

I love the training programs which are always challenging and expertly tailored to my needs.

Marco changes my programs every 4 weeks so that my body is constantly challenged and does not get too used to any one program.

The main reason for returning to Marco is the fact that his theory and in-depth knowledge combined with his practical experience actually work in reality.

Equally important to me is how honest and straight Marco is about the fact that the theory will only work if you are committed and disciplined about any necessary changes to diet and to regularly doing the programs properly.

Thanks to Marco I am back on track, feeling really challenged at the gym and my diet has totally changed the way I feel and how I look,

had 3 sessions with Marco and He opened my eyes to training as a woman.

I used to run and use the machines in the “ladies section” three times a week
After 9 months of dedicated training I saw no change in my body shape and felt I was working hard for nothing.

After my sessions, Marco taught me how to use free weights and how to train in the “Men’s section”, along with his expert nutritional advise.
To my surprise I have since not done any cardio or running and have lost body fat and gained muscle.
I also use a protein shake which I thought men could only use, which helps build muscle.
I initially thought I would get huge but this is not the case.
I am glad that I have learned how to do strength training and I can now see the benefits

My body has become more toned and I no longer feel “wobbly”.
Thanks to Marco I have now realize that there is more to gym than cardio.

I am a 29 year old plumber, originally from Melbourne, Australia. I’ve been weight training on and off about 8 years but I’ve been training seriously for the last 3 years.

As well as weight training, I also train in Mua Thai, Kick Boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

When I first met Marco, I was at a stage in my strength training where I was completely frustrated with my lack of progress. I had not increased any muscle mass for the last year and a half, and every time I tried to “Bulk Up “ I’d just gain fat. I believed I had reached my “natural” potential.

I did a lot of research on the internet and in magazines to design my diet and training programs. I ate what I believed at the time to be a pretty good, healthy, balanced diet, consisting of fruit, wholegrain and protein shakes and that’s not to mentioning the hundreds of pounds spent on the latest supplements that promised miracles but always failed to deliver.

It was by chance I got talking to Marco in the gym. I agreed to take some personal training sessions.

Marco totally revolutionized the way I train and what, and how I eat. Within no time I was starting to see results. When I started with Marco my body fat was 17%, and after 6 weeks it had dropped to 11% and that is without any cardiovascular work.

My weight remained about the same, which meant I had gained muscle as well.

By week 9 I had reached my target of under10% body fat. I’m in the best shape of my life but more importantly, I’m making steady progress again which is psychologically important to know that all the effort I’m putting in is yielding results. I have also noticed vast improvements in my Mua Thai and Jiu-Jitsu, particularly relating to hand speed, strength and explosive power.

Making the decision to get personal training from Marco has helped me in achieving my goals and getting my training “back on track “.

I believe it is important to keep an open mind with your training and be prepared to try something different, especially if you are no longer getting results.

Age: 35

During my pregnancy I put on a few extra pounds as is it usually the case, the problem was that my stomach muscles were stretched too much, and after delivering my baby girl ,they did not return to their original strength and shape, they had lost their function and my stomach was now very loose and hanging out.
I was referred to the physiotherapist after seeing my GP, who told me that my condition was called diastasis recti, which is a weakening and separation of the abdominal muscles due to the strain placed upon them by the pregnancy.
He gave me some exercises to rehabilitate them which I stuck to diligently for 5 months and as they got slightly better I was discharged from therapy.
Unfortunately after a couple of months I noticed that my abdominal muscles gap was widening again and I started to suffer low back pain; it was so bad that I could not lift my daughter up any more.
I decided then to start exercising on my own and took up a diet to lose weight, and after a couple of weeks I was jogging every day for about 30 minutes.
After 5 months on this diet and exercise routine, nothing had changed or improved to my disappointment. As a result I got depressed, I was stressed, moody and tired all the time.
Sleeping was very difficult too, I would wake up 2 or 3 times every night and stay up for 2 or 3 hours very often, I also hated watching myself in the mirror and although I was hungry all the time I felt guilty when eating.
So I decided to go for cosmetic surgery and found myself trying to save £5000 and looking out for a good surgeon.
While I was saving money for the surgery I would often talk to my friend Kym Shaw-Gray who had had a baby a month and a half earlier but was already back in the gym training with weights.
I told her that my girl was 2 and half years old but I was still unable to do sit ups let alone to lift her up so she suggested I joined the gym she was going to.
I did it and after I joined I was offered a complimentary training session by one of the gym trainers but somehow I did not find it helpful even though he was a nice guy and after commenting this to my friend Kym so she gave me the phone number of the person that had previously trained her, that was how I got to meet Marco Berta.
Just 4 months after I started to train with Marco my body and life have changed 100 %, he taught me to eat according to my genes and metabolic needs, in 12 weeks of training I lost 10% body fat, I reduced my waist size by 8cm and dropped a dress size not to mention the 12 lb of muscle gained which completely reshaped my physique, now I can eat more without getting fat again.
I feel younger; my energy levels sky rocketed, I sleep much better and recovered my confidence, so I am determined to keep training until I look my best ever.
I wanted to tell my story to help other people who feel trapped like I felt, I never believed I could do it, at least until I met Marco who not only taught me what I needed but also made me to believe in myself.

Before meeting Marco I was going to the gym five times a week.I would swim two or three times per week for one and a half hours.
The other days I cycled or cross trained for thirty min and the do floor exercises or weights for another thirty minutes.It was taking up lot of time but was still enjoyable.The main frustration was I was getting anywhere,I could not shift any weight on my own and remained at 103.6 kg for weeks.
After an initial consultation with Marco, he designed my diet and a weight training program which i adhered to for few weeks.
After six weeks into the diet and weights program, and to my surprise, I dropped five kilos of body fat training with weights only three days weekly.You can not imagine how happy I was.
Working with Marco has been a serious eye opener. His knowledge and no nonsense approach helps you set clear achievable goals. I only wish I met him a few years ago as it would have saved me lot of timeenergy and stress.
